My own passion in plants and flowers began as a small child helping my parents in their garden. I knew from this early age, garden design would be my great love and the career path I would follow.
I studied garden landscape design and horticulture at Capel Manor College in London.
Since then, I have been designing and maintaining gardens for over 15 years in and around Hertfordshire and London.
Currently I hold the position of Head Gardener at Mackerye End House in Wheathampstead, a beautiful Jacobean Manor House set within 9 Acres of gardens.
For the last 7 years I have been entrusted with the mammoth task of redesigning all the individual garden spaces and this continues to be a work in progress, a joy and privilege on my part.
Unlike many garden designers, I do not have a specific design style. My motivation is to design a garden that best suits a client's personality and lifestyle. I strive to relate a garden not only to its surrounding landscape, but also to the architecture of the property.
My inspiration comes from my heart, in tune with Mother Nature's wondrous variety of flora and spiritual essence. My work is therefore very unique and innovative. I enjoy the design work, which drives me to create exciting pallets of colour, texture and plant architecture, keeping in mind my clients taste and budget.
I listen and work closely with my clients and by applying my knowledge; it's my pleasure to guide them through the whole process.
